Chris has been receiving information from an unknown source ever since his "kidney operation" at age six months.

He considers himself more or less cellular antennae, and feels the clavinet was removed from him during the original surgery.

Music has been his least disruptive form of stellar communion - predating his days as a St. Michael's choirboy in Toronto, he would transcribe the Irish Rovers, Sly Stone, songs by The Clash and Booker T and the MGs. Later, he was transformed by Floyd Cramer's version of fire and rain.

Fela Kuti's mother was an activist too.

Why should people, especially youth, vote?

Why vote? Because regardless of how cynical, opportunistic, syncophantic, butt licking and fearful a great many of politicians can be, there is always a field of folks who get involved in electoral politics for the good old causes of representation. Even when not elected, these worldly and future minded individuals effect the body politic intensely. By merely seeking these people out, you become better educated and connected to your world. Occasionaly they do get elected and you get to hear television and papers say things about them which you already know to be lies, thus improving your understanding of how completely full of shit mainstream media tends to be. It’s definitely a win win situation....
