“CPJ: A voice for youth”

The Conseil permanent de la jeunesse (CPJ) will renew its membership between November 12, 2007 and February 1, 2008. The CPJ’s role is to advise the Minister responsible for Youth Issues on all issues involving youth. Composed of 15 members between the ages of 15 and 30 who come from different regions of Québec and from different sectors of activity, the CPJ publishes statements and research on subjects it wishes to investigate. It also participates in parliamentary committees, and organizes public events. It is important to note that proficiency in French is essential for membership on the CPJ.
