The First Peoples National Party seeks advance the issues of the Aboriginal peoples in Canada. Founded in 2004, the party intends to increase indigenous participation in politics by nominating candidates in electoral districts with large Aboriginal populations.

 

The Policies and Priorities section was last updated in March, before the 2011 federal election was called. As you may know, candidates and parties make lots and lots (and lots) of promises during elections. So many, in fact, that we can't keep up with them. This Party Profile is a general summary.
