Progressive Canadian Party
Leader: Sinclair M. Stevens
http://www.progressivecanadian.ca/The PC Party is the continuation of the former Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. It was registered with Elections Canada in 2004 as an alternative to the merger of the Progressive Conservatives and the Canadian Alliance. Today's PC Party supports right-of-centre fiscal policies and progressive social policies.
The Policies and Priorities section was last updated in March, before the 2011 federal election was called. As you may know, candidates and parties make lots and lots (and lots) of promises during elections. So many, in fact, that we can't keep up with them. This Party Profile is a general summary.
